GREENVILLE, S.C. — A unique ice cream franchise that gained national attention on Shark Tank is making its debut in Greenville. Crispy Cones, known for its European-style pastry cones filled with soft-serve ice cream, is set to open at 1143 Woodruff Road with a grand opening scheduled for early February.
The brand, created by Idaho native Jeremy Carlson and his wife Kaitlyn, caught the public eye after their March 2023 appearance on Shark Tank. The Carlsons struck a deal with investor Barbara Corcoran, securing $200,000 in exchange for 20% equity in their company. Since then, Crispy Cones has grown rapidly, closing franchising deals across the country.
Crispy Cones offers a twist on traditional ice cream by serving soft-serve in warm, rotisserie-grilled cones made from Czech-inspired pastry dough. The cones are coated in cinnamon sugar or flavored powders, then filled with gourmet spreads, creamy ice cream, and customizable toppings.
With eight locations already operating in Idaho, Utah, Arizona, and Florida, the company is now on track to open 100 locations by 2025 — solidifying its place among the latest ice cream franchise success stories.
Greenville residents can look forward to experiencing this growing ice cream franchise firsthand when Crispy Cones opens its doors in the coming months.
