SOUTH WINDSOR, CT – Cold Stone Creamery is making a comeback in South Windsor with a new store “coming soon” to the Evergreen Walk area. The upcoming location, listed at 19 Cedar Ave., Unit B, will share a building with the recently opened Starbucks.
Town records show five permits filed this year for the Cold Stone site, including a sign permit approved this week. While an official opening date has not been announced, the company’s website confirms the location is in the works.
This marks Cold Stone’s return to Evergreen Walk, where it originally opened in 2004 before closing in 2010 due to tax issues. A brief reopening under a new franchisee followed in 2011, but the store closed again in 2014.
The new site is part of a bustling development hub shared with Chipotle, PeoplesBank, and the incoming Sally’s Apizza, reflecting renewed retail energy in the area.
