SCHERTZ, Texas — Randy G’s Ice Cream in Schertz near San Antonio enjoyed a special visit earlier this year from actress Tia Carrere, known for her role as Mrs. Kekoa in Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch and as the voice of Nani in the original 2007 animated film.
The visit came after Carrere’s appearance at Rolling Oaks Mall alongside actor Mark Dacascos for the Hodgepodgetastic event in January. Following their meet-and-greet, the duo stopped by Randy G’s in search of a sweet treat.
In honor of Carrere, Randy G’s created a custom flavor called Chocolate Chocolate Chip Blitz—named playfully after “Ballroom Blitz,” a song she performed in Wayne’s World. Dacascos also got a special flavor, Decas-Conut, featuring toasted coconut and almonds.
Carrere shared with the Randy G’s team that she had just finished filming Lilo & Stitch, which grossed over $145.5 million in its U.S. box office debut. The ice cream shop’s Facebook post recalling the visit has received more than 100 interactions.
Located at 1420 Schertz Pkwy Suite 240, Randy G’s continues to delight the community with unique flavors and memorable experiences—including those with Hollywood stars.
