Handel’s Ice Cream, the beloved ice cream brand marking its 80th anniversary this year, is officially opening its newest location in Rialto, California. Brothers and franchise owners Gagan and Aman Batta, seasoned food industry veterans with over 22 years of experience, are bringing the handcrafted, award-winning ice cream to San Bernardino County for the first time.
To celebrate, the first 100 guests at the grand opening event on Saturday, June 7, at 1135 Renaissance Parkway will each receive free ice cream for an entire year*. The event, running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., promises fun for the whole family with giveaways, a DJ, spin-the-wheel prize games, and kid-friendly activities.
“We’re honored to introduce Handel’s to the Rialto community,” said Gagan Batta. “Handel’s is known nationwide for its authentic, high-quality ice cream, and we’re excited to share that with our tight-knit community and create lasting memories.”
Handel’s Ice Cream has been handcrafting fresh batches daily since 1945, using premium ingredients to produce an array of 48 rotating flavors, including fan favorites like Banana Cream Pie, Birthday Cake, Blue Monster, and Blueberry Cheesecake Chunk. National Geographic has recognized Handel’s as the #1 Ice Cream on the Planet.
Located in Renaissance Marketplace, Handel’s Rialto offers dine-in, pick-up, delivery through DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates, and catering. The store’s hours are Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
*Note: The free ice cream card provides one small cone or dish per week at Handel’s Rialto location only. Terms and conditions apply.
