Carvel is turning heads in New York City’s West Village with the debut of the world’s first soft serve dispensing billboard. Located at 137 Perry Street, this innovative billboard will serve free vanilla soft serve to visitors from 12 PM to 7 PM, celebrating the start of “Ice Cream Season.”
This creative event nods to Carvel’s origins in 1934 when founder Tom Carvel invented soft serve after his ice cream truck broke down in NYC heat. Now, the brand invites New Yorkers to enjoy classic Carvel soft serve in a one-of-a-kind way.
Members of Carvel’s Fudgie Fanatics loyalty program will get special perks including free rainbow sprinkles, exclusive swag, and a Buy One, Get One Free sundae offer. The first 50 Fudgie Fanatics in line will receive swag packs with t-shirts and gift cards.
Can’t make it to NYC? Carvel’s nationwide locations will launch their weekly BOGO Wednesday special, continuing the tradition started by Tom Carvel in 1936.
