Levain Bakery, famous for its indulgent six-ounce cookies, is cooling things down this summer with its first-ever ice cream collaboration. For a limited time, customers across all seven of Levain’s markets can enjoy their favorite cookies served “à la mode,” thanks to a new partnership with local premium ice cream makers.
In Los Angeles, Levain has teamed up with the beloved, female-owned Wanderlust Creamery to create a perfect cookie-and-ice-cream pairing experience. Wanderlust’s featured flavor, Wanderlust Vanilla, is made with grass-fed custard ice cream infused with vanilla beans sourced from around the globe. The ice cream will be served alongside Levain’s fan-favorite cookies, like the classic Walnut Chocolate Chip—lovingly known as “Wally”—offering a rich and nostalgic twist on a summer staple.
“We’ve long admired Levain Bakery,” said Wanderlust co-founder Adrienne Borlongan. “Getting to pair our globally inspired ice creams with their iconic cookies is a full-circle moment for us.” The Wanderlust pop-up will be hosted at Levain’s Larchmont Village location.
To celebrate the launch, neighbors and soon-to-be newlyweds Lily Rosenthal and Mason Royal will host an Ice Cream Social on Saturday, June 7, from 1–3 p.m. The event, themed “Perfect Pairings,” will feature their own favorite combos: Lily’s Caramel Coconut Chocolate Chip cookie with Ube Malted Crunch, and Mason’s Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip cookie with Wanderlust Vanilla.
More than just a sweet occasion, the social will benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting pediatric cancer research.
Levain’s Cookies à la Mode will be available throughout the summer at participating locations for $10.50, including one cookie and one scoop of ice cream—a delicious way to experience the best of both dessert worlds.
