The latest ice cream trend isn’t just about flavor—it’s about convenience. Scoop ‘N Scootery, the popular late-night ice cream sundae delivery business, is expanding to Massachusetts’ North Shore, the company announced via Instagram.
“We hear you … and we’re coming,” the post read, teasing an anticipated fall 2025 opening. While specific details regarding the exact location and opening date remain under wraps, a company spokesperson confirmed that further information will be revealed in the coming months.
Currently operating three successful locations in Cambridge, Allston, and Arlington, Scoop ‘N Scootery has carved out a niche with its unique model: artisan sundaes delivered directly to your door—often well into the night. With hours stretching as late as 2 a.m. at some locations, the business fulfills up to 500 daily deliveries, tapping into a demand for gourmet treats at unconventional hours.
Signature sundaes include decadent offerings like butter pecan ice cream with a frosted carrot cake core, butterscotch graham crackers, and cream cheese frosting, as well as chocolate-on-chocolate creations topped with fudge and mousse whipped cream.
This fall’s North Shore expansion isn’t Scoop ‘N Scootery’s only big move. The company is also set to launch a new location in Charlotte, North Carolina, this August—signaling growing interest in the brand and opening the door to potential ice cream franchise opportunities for entrepreneurs nationwide.
As the dessert industry continues to evolve, Scoop ‘N Scootery’s expansion strategy highlights how innovation in delivery and creative menu development are redefining what it means to enjoy a scoop of ice cream—no matter where or when the craving hits.
