Melbourne, Australia – Mochi ice cream brand Little Moons has made a sweet debut in the heart of Melbourne to mark the launch of its four best-selling flavours in Coles supermarkets nationwide. The activation, held at the iconic State Library Victoria, featured a fully functioning pop-up Ice Cream Shop and Little Van, designed to generate excitement and engage both local and online audiences.
The creative communications agency History Will Be Kind (HWBK), in collaboration with production partner The Park, orchestrated the event, which created a buzz across the city. The activation was amplified by influencer partnerships and a targeted social media campaign, driving significant engagement with fans.
Ross Farquhar, Marketing Director at Little Moons, expressed his excitement at the response from the crowd. “It’s incredible to see so many people at the State Library Victoria for a taste of our mochi ice cream. Taking our Ice Cream Shop and Little Van to such a landmark location in Melbourne was the perfect way to celebrate our launch in Coles, and we’re thrilled to connect with even more fans across the country,” he said.
He also noted that Australia is rapidly becoming one of Little Moons’ fastest-growing markets. “We’re excited to offer Aussies even more sweet treats in the year ahead,” Farquhar added.
Emma-Jane Granleese, founder and CEO of HWBK, reflected on the success of the activation as a milestone in Little Moons’ Australian journey. “Bringing the Ice Cream Shop from Another World to Melbourne with The Park was a fantastic way to celebrate Little Moons’ two-year journey in the Australian market,” she said. “It’s been a pleasure collaborating with the brand again, and we look forward to seeing how Little Moons continues to grow and thrive in Australia in 2025 and beyond.”
The launch marks an exciting new chapter for Little Moons as it continues to expand its footprint in Australia and bring its unique mochi ice cream experience to even more customers.
