Hey Yogurt, the growing smoothie franchise known for its gut-healthy blends and creative desserts, has opened a new location at 47 Jackson Ave. in Syosset, just across from the train station.
Kelly Park, who first discovered Hey Yogurt while visiting a friend in New Jersey last year, decided to bring the franchise to Syosset after falling in love with its fresh, flavorful drinks. “The smoothies were unlike anything we had tasted before,” Park said. Encouraged by positive online buzz and seeing new locations opening nearby, she took the leap to open her own store.
With a decade of business experience as a co-owner of a local nail salon, Park is confident in Hey Yogurt’s appeal. The Syosset shop specializes in smoothies made with creamy yogurt, fresh locally sourced fruit, and added probiotics — delivering a refreshing, clean taste that is not overly sweet.
Popular flavors include passion fruit, dragon fruit, mango-strawberry, matcha, and the Oreo smoothie favored by Park’s children. “People should come try our smoothies because they’re truly different from anything else out there,” she said.
Beyond smoothies, Hey Yogurt offers a selection of desserts such as cheesecakes, Boston pies, and “coffles,” a hybrid of croissant and waffle.
The franchise has expanded to seven states, including New York, New Jersey, Georgia, Illinois, and Pennsylvania, with upcoming locations planned for California and Massachusetts. Syosset marks the franchise’s second Long Island location, joining Great Neck Plaza and Flushing.
Hey Yogurt Syosset is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., inviting locals to enjoy its unique blend of healthy smoothies and indulgent treats.
