Kenner, LA — Flying Dolly’s, a popular ice cream and dessert shop, is opening its latest location in Kenner’s Rivertown with a grand opening set for Thursday, June 5. Founded by Jeff and Corey Robinson in partnership with the Mutter family, Flying Dolly’s aims to become a family-friendly destination and a vibrant part of the local food scene.
The shop offers a rotating selection of 16 flavors drawn from a catalog of 65 house-made varieties, including fan favorites like Honeycomb, which can be enjoyed alongside their unique stuffed snowballs. Emphasizing local commitment, Jeff Robinson shared, “Keeping everything ‘in the Parish’ was important to us. We want to invest in the people, the talent and the culture that makes this region special.”
Flying Dolly’s currently operates four other locations—one in New Orleans, one in Mandeville, and two in Mississippi—and plans to open a new shop in Mobile, Alabama. The company is actively exploring further franchise opportunities across New Orleans and Jefferson Parish, signaling a growing footprint in the ice cream franchise market.
