VANCOUVER, B.C. — Get ready to cool down and indulge your sweet tooth this summer: the 2025 Vancouver Ice Cream Festival is set to return bigger and better, with 35 restaurants, cafés, and dessert shops across Metro Vancouver offering limited-edition frozen treats from June 20 to August 4.
Now in its third year, this self-guided ice cream celebration gives locals and visitors a delicious excuse to explore the region — one scoop at a time. The participating businesses will each feature exclusive creations or festival-themed menu items crafted just for the occasion.
“Last year we had an amazing turnout, and we’re so excited to see more people come out, enjoy the special creations, and support the local food businesses,” said festival organizer Jason Yeh of Noms Magazine in a media release.
There’s no admission fee to join the fun. Attendees can visit any of the featured vendors during normal business hours, though organizers note that only select locations may participate for multi-outlet brands. Pricing will vary by shop.
A Community-Focused Celebration
What makes this festival stand out — aside from the latest ice cream innovations — is its community-first model. All sales go directly to the participating businesses, helping stimulate local economies and support culinary creativity.
In addition to fan favourites from previous years, the 2025 festival welcomes nearly a dozen new vendors, including Chocolat Favoris Gastown, Koko Monk Chocolates, Gelato by James, and EGGBOMB+.
