Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams has expanded its product lineup with a new ice cream bar offering, available in freezers nationwide. These bars bring Jeni’s signature creamy, buttercream-like texture into a convenient format, perfect for on-the-go indulgence. The four indulgent flavors include:
Vanilla Caramel Sundae – A rich combination of smoky almonds, caramel sauce, and a chocolaty crunch.
Dark Chocolate Bombe – Featuring rich chocolate cookies and a deep chocolaty coating.
Passion Fruit Dreamsicle – A tropical twist with key lime and passion fruit flavors.
Chocolate Churros & Cream – A Whole Foods Market exclusive, offering brown sugar and Vietnamese cinnamon ice cream, dusted with chocolate and cinnamon cookie crumbs.
The bars pay homage to Jeni Britton’s early days with the company, as she originally hand-molded and dipped ice cream bars at the company’s North Market location in Columbus, Ohio. The Vanilla Caramel Sundae bar, in particular, is a nod to the very first ice cream bar Britton ever made.
Retailing at $8.99 for a box of three bars (3.5 fluid ounces each), the bars join Jeni’s broader strategy of expanding its offerings beyond pints. In late 2023, Jeni’s also introduced ice cream sandwiches, which are now available in four flavors nationwide. This move solidifies Jeni’s continued success in reaching new markets and offering more variety to ice cream lovers.
