BALTIMORE — Popular D.C.-based dessert brand Ice Cream Jubilee is bringing its signature handcrafted flavors to Baltimore this summer, with a new storefront set to open in the city’s revitalized Harbor Point neighborhood.
The upcoming shop will be Ice Cream Jubilee’s first location in Baltimore and will serve a variety of classic, seasonal, and specialty flavors, including customer favorites like Banana Bourbon Caramel, Vanilla Fudge Ripple, and Cookies & Cookie Dough.
Set against the backdrop of the 27-acre Harbor Point development, the new shop aims to offer more than just ice cream. According to a Thursday announcement on the Harbor Point website, Ice Cream Jubilee plans to act as a “true community hub,” engaging the neighborhood through partnerships with local artists, family-friendly events, and collaborations with nearby businesses.
Founded in 2014, Ice Cream Jubilee has established a loyal following across the Washington, D.C. region, with locations in D.C., Virginia, and Maryland, as well as a retail presence in local grocery stores. The company has earned national recognition from outlets including Tastemade, Food & Wine, Alton Brown, and Travel & Leisure, which have named it among the best ice cream shops in the country.
“Ice Cream Jubilee’s focus on becoming ingrained in the communities they serve makes this group the perfect addition to Harbor Point,” said Max Beatty, principal of Beatty Development Group, the firm behind the neighborhood’s transformation. “We’re confident Ice Cream Jubilee will quickly become a favorite in the neighborhood.”
Harbor Point, once an industrial hub of coal yards and lumber depots, has undergone a dramatic transformation over the past 15 years. The area now features modern office and residential buildings, with T. Rowe Price’s new headquarters recently bringing more than 2,000 jobs to the site. Adjacent to the corporate campus, a new public waterfront space, Point Park, is scheduled to open on May 1.
The addition of Ice Cream Jubilee marks yet another step in Harbor Point’s evolution into a dynamic mixed-use neighborhood, blending business, recreation, and community engagement.
