From May 5 to 9 for teachers and May 6 to 12 for nurses, all teachers and nurses in the Kansas City metro area can enjoy a half-price scoop of ice cream at any of Betty Rae’s six locations: Waldo, the River Market, Merriam, Olathe, Prairie Village, and Overland Park. To redeem the offer, customers simply need to show their work badge for a half-price regular-size scoop.
The iconic ice cream shop emphasized that the promotion is meant to “celebrate and honor all that teachers and nurses do for our communities.”
Betty Rae’s offers a variety of hand-made and hand-scooped ice cream, with 26 core flavors to choose from. Popular options include lavender honey, ooey gooey butter cake, cinnamon, chocolate brownie, and s’mores.
