SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (WNCN) – Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream, a rapidly expanding franchise, has recently opened a new location in Southern Pines and is now hiring for several positions. The company is looking to fill roles for front window staff, ice cream scoopers, and ice cream makers.

Candidates should be customer-oriented, with a friendly demeanor and a willingness to assist guests while answering questions about the ice cream offerings. In addition to customer service, the job includes typical duties such as maintaining cleanliness, restocking products at the end of shifts, and being comfortable with lifting up to 25 pounds.

Hourly pay for these part-time positions ranges from $13 to $16.
