Wienerschnitzel, the world’s largest and most popular hot dog franchise, is partnering with Walmart to open locations inside six Walmart stores across the United States by fall 2025.
This new collaboration offers Walmart shoppers the chance to enjoy Wienerschnitzel’s iconic hot dogs and full menu after their shopping trips. Known for classic American fare, the franchise will bring favorites like the Junkyard Dog, Chili Cheese Dog, and Jalapeño Poppers to Walmart’s in-store dining options.
The six Walmart locations set to feature Wienerschnitzel are:
Puyallup, Washington
Alamogordo, New Mexico
Tempe, Arizona
Reno, Nevada
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Bakersfield, California
Currently, the east coast is not included in this rollout, aligning with Wienerschnitzel’s existing presence primarily on the west coast and southern states such as Texas.
This move reflects the franchise’s strategic focus on “non-traditional growth” by expanding into retail locations. With this partnership, more customers may soon enjoy Wienerschnitzel’s offerings nationwide.
Alongside its signature hot dogs, Wienerschnitzel also serves a variety of sides and desserts, including Chili Cheese Fries, Tasty Freez, Classic Banana Splits, Soft Serve Cones, Ice Cream Sundaes, and Oreo- and Reese’s-flavored Freezees. Select locations even offer breakfast items such as Chili Cheese Egg Burritos, Hash Browns, and Biscuit Sandwiches.
Wienerschnitzel serves over 120 million hot dogs annually, earning a loyal fanbase and multiple Entrepreneur Magazine awards for best hot dog over seven consecutive years.
This partnership with Walmart marks a significant step in expanding Wienerschnitzel’s reach, promising convenient, delicious meals for shoppers in the near future.
