Snoop Dogg’s New Strawberry Cream Dream Ice Cream Flavor Hits Shelves

In the bygone era of NFTs, where brands like Pringles, Starbucks, and Taco Bell dabbled in the digital craze, and celebrities flaunted their six-figure cartoon ape avatars, it seemed like everyone was swept up in the frenzy. Fast forward to today, and the fervor surrounding NFTs has noticeably dwindled, sparing us from the need to feign interest in Bored Ape Yacht Club illustrations or wax poetic about the Ethereum blockchain.

However, amidst this waning trend, one individual continues to embrace the NFT spirit: Snoop Dogg. The iconic rapper immortalized his NFT avatar, a Bored Ape named Dr. Bombay, through various ventures, including a show-stopping performance at the MTV Video Music Awards alongside Eminem, a collaboration with Skechers shoes, and the launch of his own line of Dr. Bombay ice creams.

Introduced last summer under Bosslady Foods, Snoop Dogg’s ice cream brand debuted with a lineup of seven delectable flavors: Bonus Track Brownie, Cocoa Cream Cookie Dream, Iced Out Orange Cream, Rollin’ in the Dough, S’more Vibes, Syrupy Waffle Sundaze, and Tropical Sherbet Swizzle. Shortly thereafter, an eighth flavor, Birthday Party, was added to the repertoire.

Reflecting on the venture, Snoop Dogg shared, “Ice cream is more than just a snack to me; it’s a way to chill, relax, and get happy.” He further emphasized the significance of his sidekick, Dr. Bombay, stating, “That’s because he’s like a son to me, and you always want your kids to be more successful than you are.”

Continuing its momentum, Dr. Bombay Ice Cream unveils its inaugural flavor for 2024: Strawberry Cream Dream. This delightful concoction combines strawberry sherbet, vanilla ice cream, swirls of strawberry jam, and delectable pieces of golden sandwich cookies. Notably, Strawberry Cream Dream is presented in partnership with Death Row Records, the iconic label co-founded by Dr. Dre, which launched Snoop’s classic albums “Doggystyle” and “The Doggfather.”

According to the company, Strawberry Cream Dream marks the first of three new flavors slated for release this year. Available at leading supermarkets such as Albertsons, Kroger, Publix, Ralphs Market, Safeway, and Walmart, among others, Dr. Bombay Ice Cream can also be conveniently ordered for delivery through Gopuff.

Regardless of where consumers choose to indulge in their pint of Dr. Bombay, it’s safe to assume that discussions about cartoon apes and NFTs won’t be on the agenda at the checkout. And for that, many are undoubtedly grateful.
