OAKLAND, N.J. – Residents of Bergen County are invited to indulge in a sweet afternoon at Oakland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center’s “Get the Scoop” Ice Cream Social, taking place Thursday, May 29, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the facility’s campus, located at 20 Breakneck Road in Oakland. The community event is free and open to the public.
Attendees will enjoy a festive atmosphere with ice cream treats while getting the chance to meet the staff and learn more about the facility’s award-winning services. Oakland Rehab & Healthcare Center was recently named one of America’s Best Nursing Homes 2025 by Newsweek and maintains a Five-Star Quality Measures rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
The event offers an informal setting for guests to connect with the Oakland team and explore the center’s offerings in post-hospital care, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term residential services. While walk-ins are welcome, RSVPs are encouraged. Those interested can contact the center at 551-352-0738 or email [email protected].
In addition to its nationally recognized healthcare services, Oakland’s welcoming community spirit mirrors the warmth often found in the latest ice cream franchise experiences—where flavor meets familiarity and neighborhood connection.
