BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — In a delightful reunion of Akron-based ice cream craftsmanship and Lakewood-based brewing excellence, Perry’s Ice Cream and Southern Tier Brewery are set to launch their latest collaborative libation tailored for adults aged 21 and over. The forthcoming release, named “Orange Twist,” promises to be a refreshing addition to summer indulgences.
Building upon the success of their inaugural partnership, which birthed the beloved “Vanilla Scoop” flavor, the two local stalwarts have eagerly ventured into another creative venture for the season.
According to Southern Tier representatives, “Orange Twist” will boast an enticing blend of flavors, featuring an 8.6% alcohol by volume imperial ale infused with tantalizing notes of orange sherbet gracefully swirled with Perry’s renowned vanilla ice cream essence.
The libation is slated to be available on draft at Southern Tier’s five Taproom locations, as well as making its way onto shelves at select retailers across New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
