A unique seafood experience is coming to Battersea Power Station on Friday, May 2, when Kraken Rum’s free Sea Scoops van rolls into the area. Offering a surprising twist on traditional ice cream, the van will serve gelato-style scoops of seafood in black wafer cones, topped with an array of fishy garnishes and drizzles.
The event, which kicks off at 11:30 AM and runs until samples are gone, is part of Kraken Rum’s innovative approach to food. The Sea Scoops menu has been developed by food professionals to present popular seafood recipes in an entirely new format.
Featured scoops include a smoked mackerel pâté topped with Monster Munch, caviar, and a Buffalo hot sauce drizzle; a spicy sesame tuna scoop with octopus and Kraken teriyaki glaze; and a taramasalata scoop crowned with a king prawn and wild garlic oil drizzle.
In addition to the seafood treats, over-18s will have the opportunity to sample Kraken Black Spiced Rum cocktails, specifically paired to complement the bold flavors of the Sea Scoops.
The Sea Scoops van will make stops at various UK locations, including Manchester’s Exchange Square on April 29, Birmingham’s Rotunda Square on May 1, Battersea Power Station on May 2, and Brighton’s New Road on May 3. Each day, the van will start serving at 11:30 AM, with free seafood cones available while supplies last.
Kraken Rum, known for its creative approach to both drinks and food, is taking the ice cream experience in a completely unexpected direction. This event is sure to thrill seafood lovers and those with a sense of culinary adventure. However, be warned—seagulls are not invited to this special treat.
