GREENSBORO, NC — Ice cream lovers and community advocates alike are invited to enjoy sweet treats for a great cause at the 4th Annual Ben & Jerry’s Benefit Night, taking place Thursday, May 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Greensboro.
Organized by the Guilford County Family Justice Center (FJC), the event combines scoops of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream with family-friendly outdoor games — all in support of Camp HOPE, a transformative summer program for children affected by domestic violence and abuse.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds will help send local children to Camp HOPE, a cornerstone of the FJC’s youth programming. The camp offers year-round mentoring and enrichment activities, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and personal growth.
As communities continue to embrace ice cream as a centerpiece for connection and fundraising, events like this highlight the broader social impact of beloved dessert brands. While Ben & Jerry’s isn’t a typical ice cream franchise, its mission-driven approach serves as an inspiration for those exploring ice cream franchise opportunities that go beyond the scoop to make a difference.
