WOODFIN, N.C. — Hilltop Ice Cream Shop has expanded its presence by opening a second location in Woodfin, offering locals a new spot to enjoy a refreshing treat. The new shop, which launched last month, complements the original Fairview location that has been serving customers for nearly 15 years.
Spencer Hilgeman, one of the owners, explained that although the team had discussed opening a second store for some time, they were not actively searching for a new location until the right opportunity arose. “We weren’t really looking for a second location at the time, especially after the hurricane, but we love the Woodfin area. It’s a very busy spot, so we felt it was a great opportunity,” Hilgeman said.
Hilltop Ice Cream is known for its extensive selection, serving more than 30 flavors of homemade ice cream. Their menu features rotating limited-edition flavors alongside options that cater to diverse dietary needs, including vegan, non-dairy, and no-sugar-added varieties.
This expansion highlights the growing interest in ice cream franchise opportunities and the rising demand for specialty ice cream options that appeal to a broad customer base. Hilltop’s commitment to quality and variety makes it a noteworthy player in the latest ice cream market trends.
